Oklahoma Department of Corrections continues search for escaped inmate

The Oklahoma Department of Corrections is asking the public to call 911 if they see an escaped inmate who walked away from a facility in Oklahoma City on Monday.

The Oklahoma Department of Corrections is searching for an inmate who walked away from the Clara Walters Community Corrections Center.

ODOC says 49-year-old Jody Patterson walked away from the correction center around 11:25 a.m. on Feb.17.

Patterson is currently serving five years for burglary out of Pottawatomie County.

According to ODOC, Patterson stands at roughly 5 feet, 9 inches tall, and weighs around 165 pounds. Patterson has red hair and blue eyes.

If you see him do not approach and call 911.
