An earthquake was recorded early Wednesday in Garfield County, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.
The 3.7-magnitude earthquake happened shortly after 5:45 a.m. Its epicenter was less than a mile south, southeast of Hayward, 22 miles east, southeast of Enid and 55 miles north of Oklahoma City.
The quake was more than three miles deep.
No immediate reports of damage or injury were reported.
