Butternut Squash Ravioli with Brown Butter & Sage

Butternut Squash Ravioli with Brown Butter & Sage
- One stick unsalted butter
- 1 pound butternut squash raviolis, prepared according to package instructions
- 2 to 3 tablespoons fresh sage, chopped
- And 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup whipping cream
- 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
- Melt the butter in a medium size skillet over medium high heat.
- Add the fresh sage to the melted butter and cook till dark circles appear on the bottom of the pan.
- Swirl the pan often to keep the butter from burning.
- Stir in the chicken broth and whipping cream.
- Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Continue to stir while adding in the Parmesan cheese and continue to cook for about a minute.
- Add in the warm raviolis and cook together till raviolis and sauce are warm.
- Serve with a sprinkling of fresh sage and Parmesan.
