Cooler Temperatures Ahead As Cold Front Arrives Tuesday

A few showers will continue Monday in the state.

Highs in the metro will be in the 70s with a few 80s out west. The next cool front arrives late Tuesday with a chance of rain and storms.

Another strong cold front is on the way this week. It arrives tomorrow. By Thursday lows will be in the 40s and low 50s. We had 30s this weekend in the panhandle, here's a look at the average first freeze. #okwx @NEWS9 pic.twitter.com/aoid0QeJ2a

The next system will pass over Oklahoma on Wednesday bringing rain, clouds and much cooler temps.

Warmer weather returns later this week and into the weekend.

Powerful storm system still showing up for Tuesday of next week. Rain and storms will return with this system.
