Investigators are piecing together a shooting that sent two people to the hospital early Tuesday morning. Police have arrested two suspects, Jeffrey Garcia, 25 and Daryl Crowder, 56, and said a third suspect is at large.
Shooting victim Andre Jones remains in critical condition. The second shooting victim, Jessica Solomon is being treated for non-life threatening gunshot wounds.
Residents on the street where the shooting happened said it is not the first act of violence at the home. They have seen fights and cars coming and going at all times of the day, from what they describe as a known drug house.
Tuesday morning police were called to a home in the 700 block of Northwest 91st St. Officers said Jones and Solomon were shot at multiple times and taken to the hospital.
"The male is in extremely critical condition,” said Msgt. Gary Knight, Oklahoma City Police Department. “The female is expected to survive. She was wounded, but has non-life threatening gunshot wounds.”
Witnesses told police, the two victims showed up to the house and shortly after a verbal fight broke out between the male victim and the two arrested suspects.
"We do know it was in front of the residence there in the 700 block,” said Knight. “Not inside the house, but actually out in front of the residence where they were both shot.”
The victims were leaving in their car when witnesses said Garcia opened fire from a white Tahoe into the victims' car. Crowder was a passenger in the front seat of the suspect's vehicle and his girlfriend 25-year-old Sara Gray was driving, according to investigators. Witnesses told police they sped away from the area.
Authorities said Gray is outstanding and a warrant for her arrest has been filed.
The two shooting suspects are in the Oklahoma County Jail on complaints of shooting with intent to kill.
