The University of Oklahoma will host its 2nd Indigenous Peoples’ Day on Monday, October 10th to celebrate the thriving indigenous cultures and people of North, Central, and South America.
University President David Boren will speak at the day-long event, which is set to begin at 9:30 a.m. with a procession from Dale Hall to the South Oval. The event has many speakers scheduled as well as lectures, Native American dancers and drummers, informational Q&A tables, a stickball presentation, and lunch and dinner.
This event is free and open to the public.
