Seminole police have seized a vehicle thought to be connected with a fatal hit-and-run crash over the weekend.

Seminole police Detective Branon Bowen said investigators have seized the vehicle thought to be involved in Sunday's hit-and-run death of 26-year-old Vicky Holata.

Bowen said they’ve also seized a cellphone belonging to the person who may have been driving the vehicle that hit and killed Holata.

About 11 a.m. Sunday, Holata was found dead in ditch near the 300 block of N Boren Boulevard in Seminole.

The state medical examiner's office is conducting an autopsy and will determine Holata's cause of death.

Bowen said investigators anticipate the the medical examiner's office will rule her death an accident.

Friends have established a GoFundMe account for Holata in hopes of raising money to give her a proper burial.
