A Midwest City woman was found dead Sunday morning in Seminole, police said.
Vicky Holata, 26, was identified as the woman found about 11 a.m. Sunday in the 300 block of N Boren Boulevard.
A young man found Holata's body in a nearby ditch and only wanted to be identified as Daniel.
He said making the discovery was divine intervention.
"I think it was God that that led me to her," Daniels said.
He admitted he was in disbelief at first.
"I was hoping it was a mannequin," he said.
By 10:45 a.m., Daniel had taken a closer look and immediately called Seminole police.
Investigators were on the scene soon after.
Police said it looks like Holata was hit by a vehicle.
Daniel has a different theory.
"I don't think she was hit. I think she was murdered somewhere else and then dropped off here," he said.
The state medical examiner will determine Holata's cause of death.
Without getting into too many details that could jeopardize the investigation, Daniel said the circumstances were suspicious.
"It just goes to prove how wicked this world is," he said.
Daniel said he only hopes the person responsible has some remorse.
"I don't know who did it ... but I really hope you are ashamed of yourself," he said.
