Canadian County Undersheriff Wins Race For Sheriff

Canadian County Undersheriff Chris West has won the race for sheriff of the county.

West beat opponent Joshua Moore in the Republican primary for Canadian County sheriff with 71 percent of the vote. 

West has worked as the undersheriff since January 2013 and was a captain for the Oklahoma Highway Patrol for 28 years.

West will not face a challenger in November.
