An Oklahoma City man was arrested on child sex complaints and investigators said they could not believe what they found in his SUV.

Adam McMillen is accused of trying to meet up with a 14-year-old girl for sex. Now, investigators are looking at whether there are more victims.

The Canadian County Sheriff's Office says the 37-year-old father instantly knew he was talking to a 14-year-old girl online and he still pursued her.

“Initially he said, ‘Well, we can't do anything because I would go to jail and it's illegal,’ said Lt. Adam Flowers with the Canadian County Sheriff's Office.

McMillen was actually talking to an undercover deputy in an online sting.

“He explains how cute I was in the picture and then it just went downhill, it became very sexual in nature,” Lt. Flowers explained.

Lt. Flowers said the conversation started 10:30 a.m. on Thursday and by 4:15 p.m., McMillen wanted to meet for sex. Lt. Flowers said McMillen told the 14-year-old girl to go to SW 15th and Morgan, which was terrible for investigators.

“He actually set up counter-surveillance on us so it was very difficult for us,” Lt. Flowers told News 9.  “We like to set up plenty of time beforehand, but this time he had the drop on us,” he added.

However, the meet-up location suddenly changed to a nearby neighborhood where the underage decoy said she lived.

The sheriff's office said McMillen tried to speed off when they pulled up to his vehicle, but deputies boxed him in. When investigators looked inside McMillen’s SUV, they saw car seats, children's toys, a stroller and kids’ coloring pages.

“Obviously he is a father, he's around children and here he is trying to pick up a child for sex,” Lt. Flowers said.

Investigators had to call DHS after the discovery in reference to McMillen’s own children.

Lt. Flowers said the sheriff’s office is looking into whether McMillen has done this before.

“The desire that drove him was his worst enemy, because it got him caught,” Lt. Flowers added.

Investigators said they were able to trace all of the sexual conversations with the underage decoy back to McMillen's personal cell phone.

McMillen was booked on two complaints of Soliciting Sex With a Minor through Use of Technology. His bond was set at $100,000.
