Two people were able to escape the flames after their house caught fire in northeast Oklahoma City, late Tuesday night.
Firefighters responded to the fire at about 11:50 p.m. in the 800 block of Musgrave Boulevard near Kelley and Wilshire. It was a narrow escape for a man and woman after a bedroom went up in flames.
Firefighters told News 9 that a man was burning incense in the bedroom. He left the room, thinking he put it out. But it was not put out.
The man suffered minor burns when he touched a piece of hot plastic. A woman was also inside the home, but managed to get out safely.
