Drowning Reports Near Downtown OKC Prove False

Reports of a drowning on the Oklahoma River, near downtown Oklahoma City, proved to be false.

Emergency crews with the OKC fire department responded to the call near Interstate 40 and Pennsylvania Ave. just after 3:30 p.m. On Wednesday.

When crews arrived they saw no evidence that anyone was in danger.
