Oklahoma Football: Sooners To Wear Alternate Uniforms At West Virginia

Oklahoma coach Bob Stoops confirmed after practice on Wednesday the Sooners will wear alternate uniforms on Saturday against West Virginia.

The Sooners will wear the road version of the alternate uniforms unveiled back in July. The combo includes a crimson helmet, white top and crimson pants with black shoes. All of the red on the uniform will have wood grain patterning, going off the “Bring the Wood” theme the uniforms were designed with in mind.

Many thought the Sooners would unveil the uniforms at home against Tennessee with a national TV audience watching and a long list of recruits in town. A date for the home alternates has not been set.
