Kyle Greig scored twice for Energy FC and Pedro Ribeiro added a pair for the City Islanders as OKC and Harrisburg played to a 3-3 draw Wednesday night at Skyline Sports Complex.
Greig tallied his team-leading fifth and sixth goals of the season in a first half that saw OKC score each of its three goals.
After Harrisburg took a 2-0 lead on a goal in the 18th minute by Matt Bahner and another in the 22nd minute by Ribeiro, Dan Delgado cut Energy FC’s deficit to 2-1 in the 37th minute.
In the 38th minute, Greig tied the match at two taking a cross through the box from Kyle Miller and touching it past Harrisburg keeper Nick Noble.
Greig’s second goal gave OKC a 3-2 lead in the 44th minute when he received a pass from Javier Castro behind Harrisburg defenders, eluded a diving Noble and chipped a shot into a wide open City Islanders net.
Energy FC held its lead until the 84th minute when Ribeiro scored his second, touching a long cross from Clesio Bauque past OKC keeper Samir Badr to tie the score, 3-3.
Harrisburg outshot OKC 16-9 in the match, but Energy FC held an 8-5 edge in shots on goal.
Energy FC’s next match is Saturday, July 26, when it takes on the Dayton Dutch Lions at 6:00 pm CST in Dayton, Ohio.
