Warr Acres Police: Driver Distracted By GPS Crashes Into Parked School Bus

Warr Acres police say a driver was distracted by his GPS when he crashed into a parked school bus in a school parking lot early Monday morning.

According to police, it happened at about 1:45 a.m. at Capps Middle School, located on N.W. 39th Expressway in Warr Acres.

Police say a man was looking down at a GPS when he drove into the parking lot and hit the bus.

The driver was not injured and he won’t get a ticket. Police say that’s because the crash did not happen on a public street.
