Firefighters have contained a large house fire Wednesday afternoon in Edmond.
According to the fire department, a two-story house at Kelly and Simmons caught on fire just before 2 p.m.
Bob Mills SkyNews 9 HD flew over the scene. According to Pilot Jim Gardner, there were no fire hydrants near the home, so crews had to bring water in from a fire hydrant in the neighborhood across the street.
Firefighters were able to contained the fire. They remain on the scene putting out hot spots.
No one was injured. Kelly remains closed just south of Simmons.
The cause of the fire is unclear at this time.
