A judge has decided to unseal Oklahoma City mayoral candidate Ed Shadid's divorce records Friday morning.
According to the Oklahoma Gazette, those divorce records would reveal Shadid "used cocaine in 2000, and again in 2004." The mayoral candidate also admits he threw a chair against a wall, kicked a hole in a wall, and broke a lamp during a heated argument with his ex-wife.

After two stints at Rehabilitation Centers, Shadid says he's been sober ever since. And in a previous interview, he told News 9 the records were sealed in order to protect his children.

Shadid's ex-wife Dina Hammon says she endorses him for mayor.
Shadid told supporters Thursday evening he will not attend Friday's proceedings related to the unsealing of his divorce files.
Shadid admits, although it will be painful if the records are made public, he hopes some good will come from the discussion.
Friday morning, Oklahoma County Special Judge Lisa Hammond decided to release Shadid's divorce records.
