MWC Woman Arrested In Choctaw Man's Shooting Death

A 21-year-old Midwest City woman will soon face murder charges after police say she gunned down a man she had been living with.

Police say Angela Durent shot James Vaughn at least three times over the weekend. When Vaughn didn't report to work Monday morning, his boss found his body outside his Choctaw mobile home.

A tip led police to Angela Durent's mother's home in Midwest City. Investigators say Durent admitted to killing James Vaughn.

"She admitted to everything," Mark Myers of the Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office said Tuesday.
