OKC Man Offers Motorcycle-Drawn Hearse Service

If you're looking for a unique way to say goodbye to a loved one, how about giving a final ride via motorcycle?

A bike enthusiast has started a new thing in Oklahoma. It's a motorcycle-drawn hearse service.

Motorcycles have always been Brian Gray's passion. Before starting his own business, he earned his paycheck as grief counselor, now he's merging his passion and paycheck to provide unique funeral processions.

It's not something you see every day a Harley Davidson tricycle carrying a glass hearse, an American flag cloaked with curtains. Gray believes everyone should take their final ride in style.

"I just think it's a very respectful way to take care of your family and your loved ones," Gray said.

It is new to Oklahoma. In fact, Gray just finished his first funeral.

"Well, it's a funeral but they seem to be very grateful, he was a motorcycle enthusiast and the family seemed to be appreciative of the service," Gray said.

It's been a year and a half of dreaming and building and saving. Nearly $100,000 later, the motorcycle drawn hearse is ready to roll.

The final ride costs $500 for any funeral within 100 miles of Chapel Hill, but it's free for service members, police officers or fire firefighters killed in the line of duty.

Gray also offers a discount for service members, police and firefighters.
