Oklahoma State freshman guard Le'Bryan Nash was charged with a misdemeanor Friday for driving without a valid license after a traffic stop.
According to reports from the Daily O'Collegian, Nash was stopped at 3:20 March 23 for traveling 33 mph in a 25 mph zone. Nash handed the officer a Texas identification card, the freshman hails from Dallas, and the officer then called in to check for a valid license and warrants. However, dispatch responded that Nash only holds an identification card.
Nash was cleared by the court on personal recognizance until May 15 to appear with a valid driver's license; however Nash requested to appear Tuesday with the documentation.
