The driver of a stolen SUV whose passenger was killed in a shootout with Oklahoma City police is now sentenced for the crime.

Twenty-one-year-old Mandirous Kamisizian pled guilty this week to second-degree murder.

He had previously been charged with first-degree murder but that charge was downgraded as part of a plea deal.

Kamisizian says, Clay Howell got out of the car following a police chase last May and started shooting at officers.

Kamisizian is sentenced to 20 years in prison.
