OKLAHOMA CITY, Oklahoma -- We love a good burger. Once the votes were tallied, we just had to try your top pick. Located in the heart of Oklahoma City's Mid-town, Irma's Burger Shack is the city's destination for some of the biggest, freshest, and most unusual burgers around town.
One of Oklahoma's Own, Irma's was awarded for being the first ever Made In Oklahoma restaurant. Mustard, honey, and brew, all local, are just a few of the items featured. "We're proud people, says Irma's owner, Linda Lee. " It's important to keep things here in Oklahoma."
So what makes Irma's burgers exceptionally flavorful? Lee believes the secret lies in the restaurant's use of Oklahoma raised, all-natural, No Name Ranch Beef. In addition to their great burgers, Irma's also serves up a delicious chicken fried steak, an award-willing chili, and homemade desserts like Grandma use to make. You just cannot go wrong with their buttermilk pie.
If you want to sink your teeth into one of Irma's originals, head over to their Mid-town location at 11th and Dewey or pay a visit to the original shack, located at 63rd and Western. Irma's is open every day from 11am until 9pm. "As Irma would say, "Ain't nothing a good burger and a cold beer can't cure!"
