Reversal of Fortune

It's time to figure it out for the OU men's basketball team. The Sooners begin a key non-conference stretch tonight when Arkansas visits the Lloyd Noble Center. Between tonight and the end of the month,OU will play Arkansas, Arizona, at Utah and at Gonzaga. And off to an already sputtering 3-3 start, if the Sooners don't figure it out...they could be buried before conference season even arrives.

I have faith that Jeff Capel will make this team into a winner. There's too much talent and he's too good of a coach. But the talent is raw, really raw. And if they tally too many early season losses it'll be tough to justify the resume when Big Dance time rolls around. The Sooners need to beat the Hogs tonight and get some good mojo going or the holiday season could turn into a giant Bah Humbug.
