NORMAN, Oklahoma – Norman police have arrested a man in connection to a shooting that took place overnight.
Police said 25-year-old Marcus Spicer of Oklahoma City was arrested Thursday morning.
According to Norman police, a man came to the police department and told officers he had been shot at during an argument between another man near Vicksburg Avenue and Beaumont Drive at about 12:40 a.m. The man told police after he was shot at, he left the area in his truck and at least two suspects followed him while shooting at him.
Officers were called to a home near Sunrise Street to the reports of shots fired. When officers arrived they took Spicer, another male and one female into custody in connection to the shooting.
Officers recovered two hand guns and a shotgun near the residence where the suspects were found.
Spicer faces charges of use of a vehicle to facilitate the use of a firearm or other deadly weapon and possession of a firearm after former felony conviction.
Additional criminal charges may be filed against a second person in the next few days.
The victim sustained minor cuts and scratches, but was not hit by the gunfire.
The victim's name was not released.
