OKLAHOMA CITY -- Oklahoma City police are searching for a man who ransacked Waste Connections in southwest Oklahoma City Sunday morning.
Police said the man broke into the business by smashing a window and burglar bars with a 40 pound rock. The man then ransacked the office and pushed a safe out the window.
However, the suspect did leave behind some incriminating evidence, according to police.
"There was blood not only on that large rock but also on filing cabinets. Our CSI unit did come out to the scene to process the DNA evidence," said Oklahoma City Police Sgt. Jennifer Wardlow.
Waste Connections District Manager Shad Davidson said the business is stepping up security at the location.
"My main concern is our employee's safety," Davidson said. "We are taking significant steps to keep money off-sight at this time."
If you recognize the suspect, call crime stoppers at 405-235-7300.
