Lawton man accused of assaulting boys

Comanche County authorities said a Lawton man has been arrested on one complaint of first-degree rape of a child under 16 and three complaints of lewd acts with a minor.

LAWTON, Okla. -- Comanche County authorities say a Lawton man has been arrested on one complaint of first-degree rape of a child under 16 and three complaints of lewd acts with a minor.

Sheriff Kenny Stradley says the 42-year-old man was arrested Tuesday and is being held in the county jail.

Stradley says the man is accused of picking up three boys near Cache about 9:30 p.m. Saturday, driving them to a baseball field and committing sexual acts on them.

The two 15-year-olds and a 14-year-old reported to law enforcement early Sunday, and the sheriff's office began their investigation.

Stradley says the man, whose name was not released by police, is expected to be formally charged tomorrow.
