DENVER -- Frontier Airlines is ending its airline service to Tulsa and four other cities as of June 1.
Frontier is currently reorganizing under bankruptcy protection and announced today it and Republic Airways are ending a code-sharing agreement. The result is Denver-based Frontier will stop service to Tulsa; Sioux City, Iowa; Little Rock, Arkansas; Memphis, Tennessee; and Jacksonville, Florida.
The move comes nearly two weeks after Frontier filed a Chapter 11 petition in U.S. Bankruptcy Court to ask for protection as it works to restructure debt.
Frontier says passengers who may be affected by the schedule changes will receive refunds or the option for an alternate flight.
