Obama predicts Clinton wins in Pennsylvania

SCRANTON, Pa. -- Sen. Barack Obama and Hillary Rodham Clinton are made their final pitch before today's polls opened in Pennsylvania's Democratic primary. But Barack Obama doesn't appear to be banking on a big day.

The Illinois senator predicted on Monday, on Pittsburgh radio station KDKA, that Hillary Rodham Clinton will get the win she needs in today's primary. Obama did say believes he will do a lot better than people think, however.

Clinton's camp said it would be grateful for a single-digit win, as polls have show her consistently ahead of Obama. Clinton began the race with a hefty 20-point lead in several polls in the state, but Obama's extensive campaigning and heavy ad presence have significantly cut into Clinton's lead.

The two candidates packed their schedules Monday with events in efforts to drum up last-minute support.

A loss will certainly increase pressure on Clinton to exit the race, with Obama leading in delegates and the popular vote.

Pennsylvania is the largest of the 10 contests remaining, with 158 delegates up for grabs in the primary.
