Staff Sergeant Chris Hake was laid to rest in Arlington National Cemetery on Tuesday.
Back in his home state, lawmakers honored the fallen Oklahoman with a moment of silence in the state House.
The fallen soldier was killed in Iraq after his vehicle hit a roadside bomb on Easter Sunday.
A memorial service was held in Enid, where Hake is survived by his wife, Kelli, and son, Gage.
