Suspect Arrested In OKC After Leading Authorities On Chase In Stolen Ambulance

A woman has been arrested after leading authorities on a chase in a stolen ambulance Friday morning.

The Pauls Valley ambulance was reported stolen early Friday morning from St. Anthonys Hospital in Oklahoma City.

Authorities began pursuing the suspect in the stolen ambulance near Interstate 40 and Cimarron. The chase ended on the Kilpatrick Turnpike near County Line Road, where the suspect, later identified as 38-year-old Dasha West, eventually pulled over and was taken into custody. 

Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers and Yukon police were involved in the chase. 

News 9 confirmed that West was arrested in Oklahoma City Wednesday on a misdemeanor complaint for assaulting a medical worker. She posted bail and was released from the Oklahoma County jail about 1:10 a.m. Friday.
