An Anadarko convenience store clerk was shot and killed in an apparent armed robbery. Now authorities say they have the people responsible in custody.
Police say, early Saturday morning, the suspect walked into the Kim’s Country Mart with a gun and fired several shots, killing the clerk. Family members say that clerk was Son Duong.
On Monday, those who frequented his store tearfully laid flowers at the door and told of a man who was everybody's friend.
“I was shocked, very shocked, hurt,” said Charlene Pebeahsy. “I thought, ‘What about our community? What does this say about our community?’”
Shortly after the shooting, Anadarko police released surveillance photos of a suspect, and by Sunday night two people were in custody.

Authorities will not confirm the identity of the suspects, but jail records show 18-year-old Josh Lonewolf and another juvenile were booked into the Caddo County Jail on First-Degree Murder complaints.
Initial reports indicate this may have been an armed robbery.
Malcolhm Dixon says he was talking to Duong just last week about carrying a concealed weapon.
“He said, ‘You’d shoot somebody?’ And I said, ‘If you have to.’ And his exact reply was, ‘There’s no way. I couldn’t do that. I’d let them carry everything in the store off, but I couldn’t shoot anybody,’” said Dixon told News 9.
On Monday the store remained locked as family and friends try to comprehend exactly what happened there.
“I think people are going to miss him,” said Pebeahsy. “I know I will.”
Law enforcement says they want to thank everyone who shared information and allowed them to make a quick arrest. Formal charges haven't been filed yet in the case.
