A mouthy Garvin County Jail inmate got an earful Friday afternoon from a judge who'd seen and heard enough.
Armando Woods was busted for public intoxication at 2:30 a.m. Friday on a street just behind Garvin County's 911 call center. Investigators said Woods fought with the three law enforcement officers it took to get him under control. They also said he was carrying meth in a cigarette carton.
Twelve hours later at his arraignment, Woods repeatedly angered the judge with his language and physical gestures. “OK, don't. Don't. I'm not stupid Mr. Woods. I don't need a fake smile. I don't need a fake smile either,” she said.
Woods will stay in jail until his next court appearance May 29.
