Arthur Elementary Students Return To Class

Students at Arthur Elementary are being allowed back inside after being temporarily evacuated because of a propane gas leak.

A crew working on the roof of the school, located at S.W. 51st Street and Independence, knocked off a valve on a propane tank around noon. They then allowed the tank to run empty.

The school was being evacuated as a precaution. No injuries were reported.
