Fried Oreos, Indian tacos and corn dogs; those are just some of the staples from the Oklahoma State Fair that a new Edmond restaurant is offering throughout the year.
Autumn and Craig Goforth own The Fair. All the items on the menu are foods people usually only see in September when the fair comes to town. The Goforths gambled those fried favorites would be popular 365 days a year, and customers are eating up the concept.
"It's going to be a very productive idea, I think," said Elwyn Aelson. "Most people look forward to the fair food and now they can get it all the time."
The Fair opens every day at 11 a.m., but is closed on Mondays. It's located next door to Jason's Deli in Edmond at E. 33rd Street and Broadway.
