OKLAHOMA CITY -- One of Oklahoma's own is the new Philly Cream Cheese Queen, and it's thanks to the Queen of Butter, Paula Deen.
Wednesday night, Caryn Ross of Norman fixed her Sassy Tailgate Sandwiches for Paula's crew and beat out thousands for "Best Appetizer" in 'The Real Women of Philadelphia' competition.
But Ross said it wasn't just about winning.
"I've learned a lot and made some really great friends and having a great time," Ross said.
Ross gets a $25,000 talent contract and she'll have the opportunity to host her own weekly online cooking show.
Ross said despite her success, she and her family have no plans to move anytime soon.
"Congratulations to our 'Real Women of Philadelphia.' We've been absolutely overwhelmed by the response, engagement and authenticity of the community," said Adam Butler, Brand Manager Philadelphia Cream Cheese. "We love the creativity and passion that's being shared between these women and look forward to bringing more fun and new challenges in the future."
