The City of Bartlesville announces it has hired a new police chief.
According to BartlesvilleRadio.com, the new chief is Tracy Roles. He currently is the police chief of Anadarko, Oklahoma.
City officials say Roles was the top candidate out of more than 30 people who interviewed for the position.
Tracy Roles takes over for retiring Bartlesville Police Chief Tom Holland.

In a news release, Tracy Roles has more than nine years of experience in a management and supervisory role as Anadarko Police Chief. He also served previously as facility director and warden of the Tulsa Transitional Center and deputy coroner/chief of investigations with the Weld County Coroner’s Office in Colorado.
Tracy Roles first day on the job in Bartlesville is October 1st.
