OKALHOMA CITY -- The Bishop McGuinness Irish came to the end of a long-standing home winning streak Friday, when the Clinton Red Tornadoes beat them 29-14.
Clinton, with is now 3-1, clinched their district-opener, tearing through Pribil Stadium in Oklahoma City. The Irish lost their second-straight game, falling to 2-2 in week four.
The Irish will have another shot at defending their home field on October 8, as they host Elk City, but not before they travel to Woodward in week five.
Clinton will face Piedmont next week, hosting the Wildcats.
