Suspect arrested following hit-and-run that killed 16-year-old identified

Oklahoma City Police have identified a person who was arrested after a fatal hit-and-run on Friday.

One person who was arrested following a hit-and-run that left an Oklahoma City teenager dead has been identified, according to police.

The Oklahoma City Police Department said 16-year-old Tamireyahna Warren was at a gathering in the backyard of a home Friday evening near Northeast 7th Street and North Missouri Avenue when they were struck by a vehicle.

OCPD says 18-year-old Quimariauna Neal, who was behind the wheel at the time of the collision, intentionally struck Warren before driving away.

According to investigators, Neal's vehicle was stopped in a traffic stop following the incident.

Neal was arrested on a complaint of first-degree murder.
