TULSA, Oklahoma -- Tulsa police arrested a woman after she crashed her car in a construction zone on I-44 near Peoria early Wednesday morning.
Katelynn Rebecca Davis, 25, was booked into Tulsa County Jail on a complaint of aggravated driving under the influence.
Police say construction crews had closed down a section of the highway under the Peoria bridge, but the woman drove right through the barricades at 12:30 a.m.
Officers say her car hit a barrier, causing her to stop.
Davis said she had only had one beer but was unable to complete the sobriety test successfully, according to the arrest report. She smelled of alcohol and was unsteady on her feet, the officer states.
Davis was not injured.
