Robbery Suspect Targets Grandparents

A Bartlesville man has been arrested in connection with the alleged armed robbery of his grandparents.

Bartlesville Police say 20-year-old Tyler Thomas was arrested on complaints of armed robbery, first degree burglary and assault stemming from an incident last week.

Police say Tyler Thomas and another unidentified suspect, both wearing ski masks, broke into Thomas' grandmother and step-grandfather's home. The step-grandfather told police officers he recognized Thomas' voice.

The suspects ransacked the home before fleeing.

Thomas is being held in the Washington County jail on a $250,000 bond.
