Some award-winning athletes made a triumphant return to Green Country Tuesday. These Oklahoma athletes returned home from the Special Olympics in Ireland.

Proud family and friends greeted the group with smiles and hugs. One Special Olympian stopped by "6 In The Morning" before she made the trip. On the show, she promised to win a gold medal for her dad for Father's day, and she delivered. Amy Wollmershauser, "and I won the gold, in the hundred meter walk. So, dad gets his Father's day present." Proud dad, Mark Wollmershauser, "It wouldn't have mattered what she got, but the fact that she got the gold medal just meant alot to me. It really did."

Amy says her favorite part of the trip was meeting people from all over the world.
