OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ The New Orleans Hornets say backup guard Bobby Jackson has five cracked ribs instead of one.

The team says a CT scan Tuesday morning revealed the five rib cracks.

Jackson missed 16 games after what was diagnosed as one cracked rib. He returned to the lineup last Thursday against Detroit but missed the next two games because of pain and soreness.

Hornets general manager Jeff Bower says the CT scan explains the ongoing pain.

Bower says Jackson remains day-to-day and his recovery is on schedule.
