PHOENIX (AP) _ A familiar face was on the practice field as Oklahoma continued preparing for Monday's Fiesta Bowl game against Boise State.

Arizona head coach and former OU co-defensive coordinator Mike Stoops spent time visiting with Sooner players he recruited and with defensive coordinator Brent Venables.

Stoops says he keeps up with OU and brother Bob Stoops and saw most Sooner games that were televised.

Arizona finished the year 6-and-6 but missed out on a bowl game.
