A 3.4 magnitude earthquake was recorded Friday in Oklahoma County, according to the United States Geological Survey.

The quake hit just before 7 p.m. and was about 1 km (under a mile) in depth.

The epicenter was 6.2 mile southeast of Amber, Oklahoma, 7.6 mile ease, northeast of Chickasha, Oklahoma, 22.8 miles westm southwest of Norman, Oklahoma and 30.8 miles south, southwest of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

No damages have been reported at this time.
