Oklahoma City police have arrested five females in connection with a home invasion that happened last week.
On March 6, police responded to report of a home invasion at an apartment complex on NW 23rd Street near MacArthur Boulevard.
Two teens inside the apartment told police a group of women banged on their door threatening to fight before kicking the door in.
'The five come in and they not only assaulted the two but they also stole numerous items," said Master Sgt. Gary Knight with the Oklahoma City Police Department.
Police arrested Derricka Williams, 19, Lamika West, 42 and three juveniles on multiple felony complaints.
“One of them had some kind of a stun gun that they were describing as a taser," Knight said. “They were threatening the women and had them cornered in a bathroom.”
Officers said Lamika West, made a big mistake
“To make it even more interesting, the ring leader of the five that went in decided to shoot video on her cellphone while they were doing the burglary,” Knight said.
The one who was videotaping apparently tried to delete the video but by accident, put it on a play loop so it continued playing over and over.
Police said West could be heard on the video telling the other suspects to take the victims' property.
According to the police report, the only things taken were clothes and hair products.
