Suspect Identified In Mustang Officer-Involved Shooting

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation has identified the suspect in last night's officer-involved shooting in Mustang.

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation has identified the suspect in last night's officer-involved shooting in Mustang.

Investigators say 42-year-old Benjamin Ballard of Yukon was shot during an altercation with Mustang Police officers on Friday. According to OSBI's report on Friday the officer was pulling over a suspect on DUI suspicion. Officers claim The suspect pulled out a gun and police responded with gunfire, killing the suspect. OSBI says the Mustang Police Department does not have bodycam equipment in its possession.

The identities of the officers have not been released at this time.
