The U.S. Attorney’s Office said a man accused of cyberstalking Tulsa Mayor G.T. Bynum will be in federal court July 22.

Their office said Adam Donn’s hearing is scheduled for 2 p.m. and he has already been charged with cyberstalking.

Court documents said Bynum and his family have received 44 emails and 14 phone calls from June 11 through 22.

U.S. Attorney Trent Shores said it appears Donn was trying to intimidate the mayor into canceling President Trump’s rally last month. Shores said Donn made threats such as publishing Bynum’s home address and personal information on the internet.

Tulsa police and the FBI started looking investigating the emails and calls. They used Donn’s IP address to track him down.

Shores said Donn appeared in federal court in Virginia last week.
