The Oklahoma City Zoo has extended Sip & Stroll, its 21 and older evening event series, through Sept. 10.
Every Thursday evening from 6 to 10 p.m., attendees 21 and older can enjoy the opportunity to experience the zoo after hours, explore an outdoor path that spans most of the park, enjoy watching wildlife and drinking specialty cocktails.
The Sip & Stroll events are limited to 900 guests per night to ensure adequate social distancing.
During the event, visit six water holes, each with a full bar, and enjoy featured drinks inspired by animals and wild places around the world.
Snacks are available for purchase from Best of Oklahoma, Big Rock BBQ and the Lotus Pavilion.
Admission for the event is $17 per person and tickets must be purchased in advance online at okczoo.org/sipandstroll.
Attendees can also pre-purchase a "drink passport" which is good for one five ounce featured drink sample at all six water holes for an additional $27 per perosn.
Event entry times are spaced every 15 minutes to allow for maximum social distancing but all guests are welcome to stay until 10 p.m., through the duration of the event.
Tickets are non-refundable and are non-transferable. Sip & Stroll is a rain or shine event.
