The Pride Of Oklahoma has suspended band activities after one of its members tested positive for COVID-19, the University of Oklahoma confirmed Monday.
News 9’s Bonnie Campo spoke with the band director last week, prior to the confirmed positive case, to discuss the upcoming changes for the Pride as they work to adjust amid the pandemic.

“We are kind of relearning how to do band, first of all. We have got masks on and bell covers on our instruments. We are working much longer intervals,” said Director Brian Britt during an interview Friday.
Pride activities will be suspended while the band works to determine other members that may have had close contact with the student, OU daily reports.
