1 Fatally Shot At SE OKC Motel

A man was found fatally shot Monday in a southeast Oklahoma City motel room, police said.

Police were called about 4 p.m. Monday to the Plaza Inn, 3200 S. I-35 Service Road, in reference to a shooting.

When officers arrived, 33-year-old Johnathan Ward was found dead from an apparent gunshot wound.

Investigators think Ward was involved in an argument with another person inside the room when he was shot. The shooter ran away from the scene.

So far, no arrests have been made.
